Last 5 T20I bowling performances:
0/18 vs West Indies
3/12 vs West Indies
1/33 vs West Indies
1/26 vs West Indies
2/24 vs West Indies
Arshdeep Singh is the newest addition to the Indian bowling arsenal. He has been selected to play in Asia Cup 2022 based on his recent performances against West Indies in the 5 match T20I series. He has picked up 9 wickets so far in 6 matches. The interesting part to note here is that the economy rate with which he bowls is 6.33. Given the power hitting that prevails in T20 cricket, it is a very impressive number.
Arshdeep Singh plays for Punjab Kings in the IPL. He has been churning out great performances in IPL over the last 2 years.
Arshdeep Singh bowls near perfect lines in the powerplay overs and his lengths at the death are simply fantastic. Although, he is an inexperienced player, he shows a lot of maturity in his game. If he starts to find rhythm in the Asia Cup 2022, the oposition batters will find it hard to cope with him.
In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, it is a great opportunity for Arshdeep to shine bright in the Asia Cup 2022.
2. Rashid Khan (Afghanistan)
Last 5 T20I bowling performances:

0/25 vs Ireland
Rashid Khan is one of the greatest players of T20 cricket of all time. He has proved the point multiple times throughout his career. His current form isn't very pleasing but he can definitely bounce back and surprise the batters in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022.
Rashid Khan has got many tricks up the sleeve with the ball in hand. He can bowl flipper, googly and regular leg spin with fierce pace and accuracy. His current economy rate in T20I cricket is 6.22, which is one of the best in world cricket. He barely misses his mark in terms of line and lengths.
Rashid Khan has always relished playing on the UAE pitches and he will be a tough bowler to face for any opposition on turning pitches. He is definitely one of the bowlers to look forward to in Asia Cup 2022.

Mohammad Wasim will be vested with more responsibility with the ball in hand in absence of Shaheen Shah Afridi. Wasim has cemented his place in the Pakistan's T20I setup with his consistent performances over time. He bowled superbly in the recently concluded Odi series against Netherlands. He is in great shape in terms of fitness and will be raring to go all out in the Asia Cup 2022.
Mohammad Wasim has played 11 T20I matches and has taken 17 wickets at an average of 15.88 and an economy of 8.10.
Wasim can bowl the hard length in the powerplay overs and has a mastery over the Yorkers that he uses in death overs. He possesses a lot of confidence at the international level and challenges the batters with consistent lines. Mohammad Wasim is definitely one of the bowlers to look forward to in Asia Cup 2022.
4. Mustafizur Rahman (Bangladesh)
Last 5 T20I bowling performances:
1/22 vs Zimbabwe

Mustafizur Rahman is one of the greats of Bangladesh cricket. He has played in 69 T20I matches and picked up 91 wickets at an average of 20.61 and an economy of 7.69.
Mustafizur Rahman hasn't been performing his best game in recent times but his skills can't be overlooked. He can bowl great off cutters at a challenging pace. He is comfortable bowling both in powerplay overs and death overs. He often provides Bangladesh with a breakthrough in the powerplay overs and puts the opposition under pressure.
Mustafizur Rahman will relish the slowish pitches in the UAE. He holds a good performance record against the Asian cricket nations and hence, he is one of the bowlers to look forward to in Asia Cup 2022.
5. Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka)
Last 5 T20I bowling performances:
1/33 vs Australia
4/33 vs Australia
0/27 vs Australia
2/33 vs Australia
3/38 vs Australia
Wanindu Hasaranga has emerged to be one of the most bankable bowling All rounders in Sri Lanka cricket. He has an experience of playing in T20 leagues around the world and it makes him a great asset in the Sri Lankan setup. He has previously participated in the Abu Dhabi T10 competition and UAE pitches will definitely suit his brilliant bowling skills.
Hasaranga has played in 38 T20I matches so far and has picked up 62 wickets at an average of 14.14 and an economy of 6.61. It is hard to see such an economy rate at the international level in T20 format.
