Tamil Nadu batsman Abhinav Mukund has been appointed as the captain of the India A team that will feature in a tour game against Bangladesh next month.

Mushfiqur Rahim's men will play a two-day warm-up fixture on 5th and 6th February in Secunderabad ahead of the lonely Test match against India in Hyderabad on 9th February.

The 14-men squad also sees the return of Jayant Yadav after he missed the final Test against England with a hamstring injury while left-arm spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Shahbaz Nadeem being the other two.

Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant, who are currently in the limited overs Indian squad will look to use the opportunity to impress the selectors eyeing a call-up in the longer format.

This will also be the first time Bangladesh will play a Test series in India having visited the country on four occasions - 1990, 1998, 2006 and 2016 previously.

India A squad:

Abhinav Mukund (capt), Priyank Panchal, Shreyas Iyer, Ishank Jaggi, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ishan Kishan (wk), Vijay Shankar, Hardik Pandya, Shahbaz Nadeem, Jayant Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Aniket Choudhary, Chama Milind, Nitin Saini (wk)
