Nepal batted first and they could only reach a modest total of 157 before being bowled out. The top and the middle order failed against Qatar bowling attack. It was Sandeep Lamichhane at number 10 who played a fabulous knock of 42 not out and took Nepal past the 150 run mark to finish at 157.

During the chase, Qatar got off to a shaky start and lost 4 wickets for just 32 runs. Sandeep Lamichhane then cleaned up the middle order and killed all the hopes for a successful chase. He picked up 5 wickets for 14 runs as Qatar were bowled out for 89, and Nepal won the match by 68 runs.

Kuwait Form Guide:

The top wicket taker for Kuwait in the tournament is Shahrukh Quddus with 7 scalps under his belt.

Kuwait have won their previous match against Hong Kong by 30 runs.

Kuwait batted first and they posted a respectable total of 272 in 50 overs. Adnan Idrees started off very well and smashed a run a ball 45. Usman Ghani provided the impetus into the innings with his cameo of 50 in 48 balls to help Kuwait reach a competitive total.

During the chase, Nizakat Khan took the responsibility of taking his team over the line. He made 60 off 97 balls. He couldn't find the right support at the other end as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Yasim Murtaza played well and scored run a ball 43 but it wasn't enough as Hong Kong were bowled out for 242, losing the match by 30 runs.
