ACT/NSW Country has taken out the 2018-19 CA Under 19 Male National Championships, defeating Queensland in the Final by four wickets at Karen Rolton Oval today.

In a rain-affected match, Queensland was sent in and was 2-46 after nine overs when rain hit.

After a lengthy delay, which saw the match reduced to 20 overs per side, Queensland reached 7-124 on the back of 37 runs to Corey Hunter.

Kaleb Phillips claimed 2-18 off four overs for ACT/NSW Country.

Chasing a revised total of 131 due to the DLS Method, ACT/NSW Country got home by four wickets with five balls to spare.

Matt Willans claimed 2-15 off four overs for Queensland, but four ACT/NSW Country batsmen passed 20 in an even batting display.

Phillips backed up his bowling effort with 36 not out, while Henry Railz (29), Blake Nikitaras (27) and Matthew Calder (21) also made vital contributions.
