Alveley Cricket Club (Clubmarked) provides a safe & enjoyable environment for players, children, wives and girlfriends.

We have pleasure in welcoming you into our extended family and whether you are a player, a watcher, or just a lover of sunny afternoons we hope you will enjoy your time with us as much as we will enjoy your company.

Founded in 1908 we played at Coton Hall on the outskirts of the village, at the former home of general Robert E Leas ancestors. After World War Two the club moved to play on the Recreation Ground in the heart of Alveley.

ALVELEY CRICKET CLUB is one of the most hospitable and friendly village cricket clubs who have over the years risen to our present position of being one of the finest in stunning South Shropshire.

Founded in 1908 we played at Coton Hall on the outskirts of the village, at the former home of general Robert E Leas ancestors. After World War Two the club moved to play on the Recreation Ground in the heart of Alveley.

We have invested heavily in our junior section, and raised a potential player base of 80 people who regularly play cricket for the club. The club has always had a strong commitment to youth cricket and the continued growth in our junior section. So whether you’re a potential junior or adult player we can accommodate players of all standards and ages who want to enjoy and gain success from the sport.

Off the field we have an active social calendar we regularly hold social events for all the family. Events include a 6 a side competition, BBQ's, cricket tours, charity events, discos etc...
