Andy Flower to mentor Peshawar in PSL
The Peshawar franchise of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has roped in former England coach Andy Flower as a batting coach and mentor.
Flower will join former Pakistan fast bowler and ex-bowling coach of the national team, Mohammad Akram, who is the head coach of the Peshawar franchise.
There is a possibility of a reunion between Flower and Kevin Pietersen, if the Peshawar franchise pick the former England batsman in the draft process.
In September, Pietersen had expressed his willingness to be a part of the inaugural edition of the PSL and is among the favourite picks for the five franchises in the competition.
The PSL will be held in February 2016 in Dubai and Sharjah and will be a five-team affair, with Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Quetta as the franchises.
The PSL player draft will take place on 21st and 22nd December with 137 Pakistan cricketers and 171 foreign players available in the list released by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
