
Ansari impresses in tour game after Mazid's century

Abdul Mazid notched a 95-ball 106 while Nazmul Hossain supported him with a valiant 72 before Zafar Ansari's four-wicket haul restricted Bangladesh Cricket Board XI to 294 in their first innings of the second tour game in Chittagong.
In reply, England XI had four overs to negotiate, which they did successfully with openers Haseeb Hameed (0 not out) and Ben Duckett (2 not out) remaining unbeaten.
BCB XI won the toss and elected to bat first. Skipper Soumya Sarkar (4) was dismissed early by Chris Woakes (1-35).
However, Mazid (106) and Nazmul (72) and took the team to 127 for one at lunch. In the first session, Mazid raced to a 39-ball fifty and remained unbeaten on 92.
Nazmul brought his half-century off 99 deliveries in the post lunch session while Mazid retired hurt on 92.
Moeen Ali (1-27) castled Mominul Haque (1) while Ansari (4-68) had the better of Nazmul, Mosaddek Hossain (47) and Shadman Islam (2). BCB XI were reduced to 253 for six .
Mazid returned back to complete his century but BCB XI capitulated and were dismissed for 294 in 79.4 overs.
Stuart Broad (2-43), Gareth Batty (2-55), Ali and Woakes were the other wicket takers for England apart from Ansari.
