23rd match, Bangladesh Premier League, Dhaka

Ariful Haque's late blitzkrieg helped Khulna Titans to secure a thrilling two wickets win during the Bangladesh Premier League clash at Dhaka on Tuesday.

Titans' skipper Mahmadullah scored 56 of 44 balls as the rest of the batting line-up failed to perform in front of Mohammad Sami's (3-29) fiery pace bowling.

The Titans were struggling at 128 for eight in the 17th over while chasing a target of 167 runs when Haque's 19 ball 43-run brisk finish helped Titans cruise across the winning line.

Earlier in the game, the Rajshahi Kings finished strong with 166 runs on the board at the conclusion of 20 overs following fifties from Dwayne Smith (62) and Mushfiqur Rahim (55).

Junaid Khan (4-27) was exceptional for the Titans with the ball but his performance alone wasn't enough to curtail Rajashahi for a reasonable total.

Haque was awarded the man-of-the-match award for his winning knock as the two points from the win has now helped Titans to climb up to the third position in the points table with a total of nine points from seven games.
