Ashes 2009: England Fined For Slow Over-Rate

England have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate in the second Test against Australia at Lord's.

England won the match go to 1-0 up in the 2009 Ashes series but captain Andrew Strauss was fined 20 percent of his match fee with the rest of the players all being fined 10 per cent.

Players are fined five per cent of their match fee for each over that isn't bowled in time and England were deemed to be two overs short of their target.

The captain's fine is then doubled.
