Ashton Turner To Lead CA XI

Western Australia and Perth Scorchers all-rounder Ashton Turner will captain a Cricket Australia XI which will play South Africa in a Twenty20 tour game on 2nd November.

The match is the touring side's only game before they take on Australia in three Twenty20 Internationals and five One-Day Internationals.

The game will follow Australia Women's opening Twenty20 International against the West Indies Women at the North Sydney Oval.

The team includes a number of young players including Sydney Thunder's Jake Doran, the youngest player to earn a Big Bash contract.

Leg-spinner James Muirhead is the only player in the squad who has been capped by Australia.
