Ravichandran Ashwin recorded the best figures by a bowler at Wankhede Stadium as India completed an innings victory over England by dismissing them for 195 in the final innings of the fourth Test in Mumbai to seal the series 3-0.
England started the day at 182 for six, trailing India by 49 runs. In the second over of the day, Jonny Bairstow (51) was trapped LBW by Ashwin's (6-55) carom delivery. Bairstow used a review but it went in vain.
In his next three overs, Ashwin dismissed Chris Woakes (0), Adil Rashid (2) and James Anderson (2) to complete another six-wicket haul and overall 12 wickets in the match which is also the best figures by a bowler at Wankhede Stadium.
England were bowled out for 195 as India completed an innings victory which also helped them wrap up the series 3-0 with a game to go.
Virat Kohli was awarded the man of the match for his match-winning double century.
