Australia 57-1 (Finch 36no) v Pakistan
Warm-up game, ICC Champions Trophy, Birmingham

The preparations of Pakistan and Australia for the upcoming Champions Trophy was dampened by rain as only 62 deliveries were possible during their final warm-up game in Birmingham on Monday.

After rain delayed the start of the game, Australia decided to bat first on winning the toss.

David Warner (11) struck two boundaries in the first two overs while Aaron Finch (36 not out) plundered hat-trick of boundaries in the fourth over as Australia raced to 29 for naught.

Mohammad Amir (1-9) provided the initial breakthrough when he had Warner caught behind in the fifth over following which Finch continued his positive intent to take Australia to 57 for one in 10.1 overs before rain arrived once again, allowing no further play possible.

Australia will take on their trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand in their opening game of the Champions Trophy on 2nd June at Edgbaston while Pakistan will lock horns with their arch-rivals India at the same venue on 4th June.
