It was an extraordinary day’s play with 16 wickets falling and England being bowled out for 67 in their 1st innings.
England battled hard in the evening session to try and get back into the match but with Jofra Archer off the field and unable to bowl, it was left to Stokes to bowl throughout the session.
England will be pleased to have fought back, but they needed to bowl Australia out this evening to stand any chance of winning this match. England also need to find a way to score Test match runs.
Day 3 will be another great day of Test cricket, however, the Ashes could be decided tomorrow, unless England can dig really deep and turn this match on its head again.
