In the opening match of the Asia Cup Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 137 runs. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat against Sri Lanka earlier today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

Result - Bangladesh won by 137 runs
Mushfiqur Rahim hit a wonderful 144 in Bangladesh’s total of 261 with Lasith Malinga 4-23, the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers.
In reply, the Sri Lankan batsmen capitulated to 124 all out - Mustafizur Rahman, Mehedi Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza all taking 2 wickets apiece.
