Batting first, Windies scored 261 - 9 with Shai Hope 109 and Roston Chase 51 the stars with the bat and Mashrafe Mortaza 3-49 and Mohammad Saifuddin 2-47 the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh.
In reply, Bangladesh stormed to an 8 wicket win, scoring 264 – 2 in 45 overs with Tamim Iqbal 80, Soumya Sarkar 73 and Shakib Al Hasan 61* doing the damage with the bat.
