Bangladesh recovered from being reduced to 32 for four to beat Zimbabwe by 21 runs in the fourth One-Day International and move into a 4-0 series lead with one match to play.

Solomon Mire (3-49) and Neville Madziva (3-60) gave Zimbabwe a brilliant start but they could not sustain it.

Mahmudullah hit an unbeaten 82 in 112 balls and Mushfiqur Rahim 77 in 78 before Mashrafe Mortaza hit a quickfire 39 in 25 balls to steer the home side to a score of 256 for eight.

Zimbabwe also started poorly as they clipped to 60 for three before Brendan Taylor (60) and Mire (52) put on 106 together for the fourth wicket.

However, they would fall short after Shakib Al Hasan, Rubel Hossain and Jubair Hossain all took four wickets.

Zimbabwe closed on 235 for eight.

The fifth and final match is in Mirpur on Monday 1st December.
