Game: Third T20I, Sri Lanka v Bangladesh
Venue: R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo

Bangladesh will be hoping to get their Nidahas Trophy campaign off the mark when they face Sri Lanka in the third game of the Twenty20 International tri-series at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Bangladesh batting looked fragile and their combination did affect in the absence of Shakib Al Hasan. Liton Das and Sabbir Rahman did consolidate a bit but they never had any kind of momentum against India showing the dependency on Tamim Iqbal to get them off to a promising start. With just 139 on the board, it is always never going to be enough and barring Rubel Hossain the rest of the bowling lacked intent and they will be desperately hoping for a turnaround when they face the table-toppers Sri Lanka.

The return of Kusal Perera was heartening for Sri Lanka, who have been plagued by injuries to Angelo Mathews, Asela Gunaratne and Shehan Madushanka. The way Kusal toyed with the Indian bowlers during his 66-run knock provided Sri Lanka the much needed impetus at the top and the consistency of Thisara Perera in finishing the innings for his team has provided a further boost. The recall of Jeevan Mendis has strengthened the flexibility of the side and overall they possess a proper variety in their bowling attack with Akila Dananjaya keeping the batsmen guessing.

Head to Head Record: Both the teams have competed in nine T20Is including a recent two-match series with Sri Lanka winning seven out of it and Bangladesh winning the other two.
