MATCH SUMMARY

Bangladesh 122/8 (20)

Australia 62/10 (13.4)

Result - BAN won by 60 runs.

MATCH STATS

Batting first Bangladesh didn't set the most impressive total, nobody other than Naim Sheikh (23) even breaking the 20 run barrier. You would think that meant an easy match for Australia to wrap-up - Shakib Al Hasan had other ideas.

He stepped up, taking an almost unbelievable 4-9 to dismantle the Australian batting line-up and leave them with little to no chance of getting anything from this match. Mohammad Saifuddin also chipped in with 3-12, which meant Australia's batting line-up was left looking below average to say the least.

This will be a huge boost for Bangladesh, not only the personal displays from the players, but as a team, toppling a big name such as Australia with relative ease.

Very few positives for Australia to take from this match, or the series, failing to adapt to Bangladesh on their home turf. Bangladesh comfortably take the series 4-1.

Shakib Al Hasan, Player of the Match and Series: I'm enjoying the game and I'd like to thank my team mates. We played some really good cricket here and in Zimbabwe. We held our nerves and it was all in all a very good team effort. If you look at the last match, it went to the last over and our plan was to score 120-130. It wasn't easy for the batsmen but our bowlers did a fantastic job. We are trying to improve all areas and our fast bowlers have bowled brilliantly as well. On the other hand, the spinners are contributing as well and it was a very good combination.

Fall of wickets: 1-42 (Mahedi Hasan - 4.3 ov), 2-57 (Naim Sheikh - 8.2 ov), 3-60 (Shakib Al Hasan - 9.6 ov), 4-84 (Mahmudullah - 13.3 ov), 5-96 (Soumya Sarkar - 14.5 ov), 6-110 (Nurul Hasan - 17.4 ov), 7-114 (Afif Hossain - 19.3 ov), 8-118 (Mohammad Saifuddin - 19.5 ov)

Fall of wickets: 1-3 (Daniel Christian - 1.1 ov), 2-17 (Mitchell Marsh - 3.5 ov), 3-38 (Matthew Wade - 7.2 ov), 4-48 (Ben McDermott - 8.5 ov), 5-53 (Alex Carey - 10.3 ov), 6-54 (Moises Henriques - 10.5 ov), 7-54 (Ashton Turner - 11.2 ov), 8-56 (Ashton Agar - 12.3 ov), 9-58 (Nathan Ellis - 13.1 ov), 10-62 (Adam Zampa - 13.4 ov)
