Guyana beat the Windward Islands by five wickets in an entertaining clash which saw plenty of runs scored when Guyana closed on 160 for five in reply to 157 for eight.

Johnson Charles hit 55 in 40 balls to set up the Windwards' score before Rawl Lewis hammered 30 in 14 balls but they were kept in check by Lennox Cush's haul of four for 25 and Devendra Bishoo's three for 23.

Travis Dowlin then scored 60 in 52 balls to get the run chase off to a good start and although they lost wickets, Nelon Pascal taking three for 21, they had swift innings of 27 from Christopher Barnwell and 24 not out from Jonathan Foo to thank for getting them home with four balls to spare.

Barbados needed a Super Over and then a tie-breaker to beat Combined Campuses & Colleges after both teams scored 180 runs.

Barbados wicket-keeper Carlo Morris impressed with 42 not out in 21 balls after Kirk Edwards had blasted 45 at the top of the order as they reached 180 for six.

Miles Bascombe (48 in 29 balls), Ryan Wiggins (39 in 21) and Floyd Reifer (26 in 16) then scored the runs to level the scores as Ryan Hinds and Ashley Nurse took two wickets.

Floyd Reifer then thumped 13 in four balls to guide CCC to a Super Over score of 16, but that was levelled thanks to Dwayne Smith's 14 in four balls.

With the scores level in both regulation play and Super Over play, Barbados took the match by virtue of hitting more sixes - ten to eight.
