Melbourne Renegades won the toss and elected to bat and despite the return of Aaron Finch, they only mamaged a seemingly disappointing 151/8 off their 20 overs. 

Mackenzie Harvey 45 top scored and Jason Behrendorff, Tymal Mills and Ashton Agar all took 2 wickets apiece for Perth Scorchers.

In reply, Josh Inglis 23 and Cameron Bancroft 23 gave the Scorchers a great start with an opening partnership of 49 off all but 6 overs. Then came the Marsh and Munro show, who put on an unbeaten 3rd wicket partnership of 99 runs, to take the Scorchers to an 8 wicket win.
