Melbourne Renegades won the toss and decided to field and proceeded to watch Ben McDermott complete another brilliant BBL hundred, hitting 127 (65), giving the Hurricanes a huge total of 206/5 off their 20 overs.
In reply, the Renegades were always behind the run chase and were bowled out just 121 in the 16th over of their innings - Sam Harper 57 top scored for the Renegades and Sandeep Lamichhane 3- 32 and Tom Rogers 3 -24 were the main wicket takers for the Hurricanes.
