BBL 2021/22: Sydney Sixers crush Melbourne Stars in Season Opener at the SCG
Sydney Sixers smashed the Melbourne Stars in the 1st Match of the Big Bash League 2021/22 today, winning by a massive 152 runs.

James Vince 44, Josh Philippe 83 and Moises Henriques 76* ensured that the Sixers finished with an historic top innings total, at the SCG, in the BBL, of 213/4 in their 20 overs.
Debutante Brody Couch 2-36 was the top wicket taker for the Stars.
In reply, the Melbourne Stars were bundled out for just 61 - Steve O'Keefe 4-14 and Sean Abbott 3-14 doing the damage, ripping the Stars batting line – up apart, reducing them to 61/10 (11.1 ov).
