Ahead of the IPL season starting tomorrow we are going to have a look at who are the favourites to win the tournament, who are the players in the running to take the most wickets and score the most runs and give you a chance to beat the bookies!
Royal Challengers Bangalore are favourites and last year’s champions, the Mumbai Indians, are joint second favourites along with Chennai Super Kings, who were the beaten 2013 finalists.

The Twenty20 tournament is the most watched cricket league in the world and some of the sport’s superstars are signed up for this year’s eight team contest.
The top tournament runscorer market has Virat Kohli as 11/2 favourite followed by Chris Gayle at 15/2 and Mike Hussey at 11/1. Ashes hero David Warner comes in at 14/1 with KP at 16/1 and the most expensive player this year, Yuvraj Singh, at 55/1 to get the most runs after his shocker against Sri Lanka in the ICC World T20 final a few weeks ago.
With the ball Lasith Malinga is the slight favourite at 9/1 to do the most damage and be the top tournament wicket-taker. He is followed by Dale Steyn at 10/1 and Kings XI Punjab star man Mitchell Johnson also at 10/1.
With fireworks expected at the crease Paddy Power offer 14/1 that there will be six sixes in a single over during the season and 7/4 that the Royal Challengers Bangalore will get the most sixes as a team.
In the opening game on Wednesday the Mumbai Indians are 8/13 favourites to beat the Kolkata Knight Riders who are at 5/4.
On Thursday the Delhi Daredevils are 5/4 underdogs to beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore who are 8/13 favourites.
Then on Friday the Chennai Super Kings are 8/11 in their match against the Kings XI Punjab, who are at 11/10.
Finally the Sunrisers Hyderabad are 8/11 in their first match against the Rajasthan Royals who are at odds of 11/10 for the win.
