England all-rounder Ben Stokes, who missed the third and fourth Test matches against Pakistan in the recently concluded series, is all set to return to action in the semi-final of the 2016 NatWest Twenty20 Blast on Saturday for Durham.

Stokes, who made a comeback for England from a knee injury in the second Test against Pakistan in Manchester, tore his calf muscle and was sidelined for the remainder of the Test series.

However, the England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed that Stokes is available for Durham for the clash against Yorkshire in the second semi-final on 20th August.

Ahead of the limited overs leg of Pakistan’s tour of England, Stokes’ successful return to the game will be a boost for the hosts, who will be keen to bounce back from the 2-2 draw in the Test series.

England will also be buoyed by the return to action of fast bowler Mark Wood, who has featured for Durham this month after recovering from a surgery to his ankle.

The five-match One-Day International series between England and Pakistan will begin on 24th August in Southampton and will conclude on 4th September in Cardiff.
