Bilawal Bhatti To Replace Rahat Ali In Bangladesh Tour
Pakistan all-rounder Bilawal Bhatti is all set to join the squad for the second Test against Bangladesh as a replacement for the injured Rahat Ali.
Bhatti who is currently in Sri Lanka as a part of the Pakistan A squad will fly across to Bangladesh in time to be available for the Test.
The 23-year-old Bhatti who made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in January 2014 has represented Pakistan in two games in the longer format.
Apart from having a difficult time on the field with the results, injury woes have also hampered Pakistan during their ongoing tour of Bangladesh.
While Sohail Khan and Sohaib Maqsood were ruled out due to injuries prior to the tour, Rahat along with fellow seamer Ehsan Adil suffered hamstring injuries during the series.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah too entered the injured list as he suffered a broken thumb during the One-Day International series of the tour. However he was deemed fit to participate in the first Test.
The injuries along with the series whitewashes suffered in the ODIs and the one-off Twenty20 International has forced the Pakistan Cricket Board to do a review at the end of the tour.
The second Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be played in Dhaka from 6th May.
