Booking.com list quirky T20 Pavilion for ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021
Sports fans looking to secure the Ultimate Cricket Stay during the forthcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, will soon have the chance to book an exclusive luxury T20 Pavilion, which comes complete with the sights, sounds and smells of cricket.
Booking.com, the official accommodation booking partner of the tournament, is creating a bespoke cricket-themed airstream glamping stay, packed with quirks, features and luxuries that will satisfy even the biggest cricket enthusiast.
A grass carpet, giant cricket ball ice bucket, cleverly crafted furniture, luxury rugs, cosy cricket blankets and of course a top of the range big screen TV for match viewing, will all be provided for the comfort of guests during the stay. While the smell of cut grass, leather on willow, and freshly laundered cricket whites will permeate the air, in the living and bathroom interior spaces.
Cricket themed sound effects will be audible throughout the airstream and even the bathroom will feature a Howzat toilet flush. A wicket-beats playlist will also be supplied to create the right pre-match atmosphere.
The T20 Pavilion will be located in the picturesque and quintessentially English setting of Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club in north London and will be available to book for the afternoon and night of Saturday 30 October, when England take on their oldest rivals Australia, in the Super 12 stages of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 (at 1400 GMT).
Booking for the stay will open at 1000 on Saturday 23 October, the first day of the Super 12 stage at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will see England play their first match of the tournament against the defending champions, West Indies. The booking fee will be £20.21.
Computer generated 3D images of what the T20 Pavilion will look like, have been released ahead of the opening game of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, which begins this weekend, on 17 October in the UAE and Oman, and runs until 14 November.
After delays and disruptions due to COVID-19 this eagerly anticipated competition will see the biggest T20 nations in the world go head-to-head, with some epic matches on the cards.
