Bost Defenders beat Speenghar to make it four in four SCL2022
Samiullah Shinwari (76) and Hashmatullah Shahidi (52) scored half-centuries before Zia Akbar picked another 3-for to lead the Defenders to defend their total of 146 runs and win their 4th game in the event.

Earlier in the morning, Usman Ghani decided that the Tigers will bowl first. They bowled very well in the first few overs as the defenders were reduced to 4/2 in the third over. Samiullah Shinwari (72) and Hashmatullah Shahidi (56) put on a match-turning partnership as they shared 138 runs for the third wicket to help the team post 146 runs on the board. Asif Afridi returned with figures of 2/7, whereas Yamin Ahmadzai took 2/22 and Farid Ahmad bagged 1/21 in his four overs.
Speenghar Tigers’ openers have got to a flyer scoring 51 runs in the first 5 overs before Zia ur Rahman was introduced into the attack who went on to pick 3 wickets inside the next three overs to leave the tigers at 59/3. Usman Ghani scored a fighting half-century but lost his wicket due to a mix-up between the batters in the 14th over. They needed 16 runs off the last over but failed short by 10 runs at the end of the match.
