Aftab Alam decided that the Dragons would bowl first early in the morning, as they bowled well and restricted the batting-heavy Bost Defenders to 128/5 in 20 overs. Nijat Masoud 2/12 and Karim Janat 2/16 contributed largely in this regard.

Karim Janat (24) at the top and Suliman Arabzai (20*) & Ikram Alikhil (20) at the middle started well but were not able to get their team over the line. Fazal Haq Farooqi once again did well for his team picking up a 3-wicket haul as the debutant Ahmad Zia returned with 2 wickets.

Hashmatullah Shahidi was awarded the Player of the Match, Fazal Haq was the stylish Player, Samiullah Shinwari won the Most Sixes Award of the match whereas the debutant Ahmad Zia was adjudged as the game changer of the match with his two wickets in one over.
