Bowlers set up massive win for Sri Lanka as they storm into finals of tri-series

A collective effort from the bowlers saw Sri Lanka dismiss Bangladesh for just 82 runs and later chased down the target in just 11.5 overs with 10 wickets in hand to claim a place in the final of the tri-series in Dhaka.
As a result, the two teams will face other once again on Saturday for the final while Zimbabwe have missed out on qualification.
Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. Suranga Lakmal (3-21) produced one of the finest spell with the new ball which saw him remove Tamim Iqbal (5), Anamul Haque (0) and Mahmudullah (7) while Shakib Al Hasan (8) was run out. Bangladesh were positioned 34 for four at that stage.
Only Mushfiqur Rahim (26) and Sabbir Rahman (10) managed to reach double figures as Dushmantha Chameera (2-6), Thisara Perera (2-27) and Lakshan Sandakan (2-24) joined the wicket-taking act to wrap up Bangladesh innings to 82 runs in 24 overs.
In the chase, Sri Lanka looked in no trouble with Danushka Gunathilaka (35 not out) and Upul Tharanga (39 not out) dominating the proceedings as they completed the chase in just 11.5 overs with all 10 wickets in hand. Lakmal was awarded the player of the match as Sri Lanka sealed the second position in the table.
