Brisbane, Adelaide likely to host day-night Tests
The Gabba in Brisbane is likely to join the Adelaide Oval in hosting the day-night Tests during the 2016-17 season according to the reports.
According to the reports of Fairfax Media, the Brisbane encounter is likely to feature Pakistan while Australia will take on South Africa in the clash at the Adelaide Oval with both the games scheduled to be played in December.
The Proteas are likely to tour Australia for a three-match Test series with the WACA ground in Perth set to host the first game while Hobart looks the front-runner for the second Test.
Finally the action will shift to the Adelaide for the final Test which will also be a day-night encounter.
On the other hand, Pakistan will begin their three-match Test series with the day-night game in Brisbane followed by the Boxing-Day Test in Melbourne and the final game in Sydney.
This will be the second time since 1994, The Gabba will not host the first game of the season after the first Test between India and Australia was shifted to the Adelaide Oval in 2014-15 following the tragic death of Phillip Hughes.
