Bute Cricket Club's Alan Peacock was presented with a Cricket World Club & Ground Hero award following their recent marquee match against Indian touring side MC Lions of Mumbai.
Peacock was nominated for the huge amount of work he does for the club as coach, untiring groundsman and ambassador.
After the match at the picturesque ground on the Clyde islands of Bute, both sides exchanged plaques before Peacock was presented with his award by club chairman David Mackay and MC Lions' tour director Mohit Chaturvedi

Marion Lawrence, Bute County Cricket Club's long serving scorer, was centre stage on the top table at the club's annual dinner awards at Rothesay's Victoria Hotel on Saturday night as players and guests honoured her for her unstinting service in fair weather and foul.

Easton in Gordano Cricket Club Treasurer Keith Dickinson, Chairman Mike Farrell and President Merv Duck were the first people to be named as 2015 Cricket World Club & Ground Heroes earlier this week.
