Batting first, Central Districts scored a competitive 161-7 in their 20 overs, with Dean Foxcroft 51 and George Worker 44 the mainstays with the bat and Jeetan Patel 2-26 and Logan van Beek 2-19 the pick of the bowlers for Wellington.
In reply, Wellington fell 11 runs short in the run chase and were all out for 150 - Luke Woodcock 63 top scored and Blair Tickner 3-25 and Ajaz Patel 2-27 did the damage with the ball.
