Chattogram Challengers had a convincing win over Rajshahi Royals by 7 wickets in the BPL, at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka today.

Chattogram Challengers won the toss and decided to bowl against Rajshahi Royals at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka today.

Rajshahi Royals  scored a competitive 166-8 in their 20 Overs, with Liton Das 56, Shoaib Malik 28, Farhad Reza 21 and Andre Russell 20 in the runs and Rubel Hossain 3-20 and Ziaur Rahman 3-18 the main wicket takers for the Challengers.

In reply, West Indies legend Chris Gayle had his first outing in this season’s BPL and put the Challengers on the road to storming win with over 3 overs left to play of their 20 overs.

Lendl Simmons 51, Imrul Kayes 63*, Chris Gayle 23 all batted superbly to give Chattogram Challengers a well-deserved win.
