Batting first, Delhi Capitals only managed 147-9 in their 20 overs due to fine bowling from CSK bowlers - Colin Munro 27 and Rishabh Pant 38 were the main run getters and Harbhajan Singh 2-31, Deepak Chahar 2-28, Dwayne Bravo 2-19 and Ravindra Jadeja 2-23, the stars with the ball for Chennai.
In reply, Chennai Super Kings romped to a 6 wicket win scoring 151-4 in 19 overs with Faf du Plessis 50 and Shane Watson 50 setting up the victory with an 81 run opening partnership in 10 overs; Amit Mishra 1-21, Trent Boult 1-20 and Ishant Sharma 1-24 were the pick of the bowlers for Delhi Capitals.
