Game: 5th Match, Bangladesh v India
Venue: R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo
Timings: 01:30 PM GMT / 07:00 PM Local

As the Nidahas Trophy enters its final stage, India and Bangladesh are set to face each other in the fifth game of the tournament at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Both the teams head into the encounter with a win over Sri Lanka in their previous game and the confidence will be even higher for Mahmudullah's men, who went on to chase the fourth highest T20I total of 215 with five wickets in hand and a lot of credit will go to Mushfiqur Rahim's 35-ball unbeaten 72 as he took the responsibility of inspiring the team in the absence of Shakib Al Hasan. The decision to promote Liton Das up the other also worked well as he and Tamim Iqbal set the tone scoring 74 runs in the powerplay. Mahmudullah made handy contributions with the ball but they will expect more from their lead spinners Mehedi Hasan and Nazmul Islam to make an impact.

India's inexperienced attack has been impressive in the tournament. If it was Jaydev Unadkat's three-wicket haul that set up win against Bangladesh, it was Shardul Thakur's four wickets that played an important part in the next game against Sri Lanka. Opening the bowling, Washington Sundar has been more than handy, especially in the powerplay phase while Yuzvendra Chahal can never be kept out of the game. There are concerns about the performance of Vijay Shankar and India might look to consider giving Deepak Hooda a go. Rishabh Pant will be disappointed on not making his opportunity count in the first two games and eventually made way for Lokesh Rahul.

Conditions: The game is expected to be another high scoring encounter but there are few concerns on the weather with thunderstorm predicted in evening.

Probable Team:

India: They might look to give Deepak Hooda a chance but they will be wary of the fact that it might deplete the bowling further as Vijay Shankar has made a handy contribution with the ball.

1. Rohit Sharma (captain), 2. Shikhar Dhawan, 3. Suresh Raina, 4. Lokesh Rahul, 5. Manish Pandey, 6. Dinesh Karthik (wk), 7. Vijay Shankar, 8. Washington Sundar, 9. Vijay Shankar, 10. Jaydev Unadkat, 11. Yuzvendra Chahal.

Bangladesh: They are unlikely to tinker with the line-up that completed a record chase against Sri Lanka.

1. Tamim Iqbal, 2. Liton Das, 3. Soumya Sarkar, 4. Mushfiqur Rahim (captain), 5. Mahmudullah, 6. Sabbir Rahman, 7. Mehedi Hasan, 8. Nazmul Islam, 9. Mustafizur Rahman, 10. Rubel Hossain, 11. Abu Jayed.

Bangladesh will be looking to bounce back against India  and reverse the result of their last match against each other.
