Crane, Dawson stars in Hampshire's 90 run victory over Somerset

Mason Crane and Liam Dawson shared nine wickets between them as Hampshire bowled out Somerset for 198 runs in the final innings to register a 90-run victory on the third day in the County Championship Division One clash in Taunton.
Somerset resumed their final innings at 39 for naught, needing another 220 runs to win.
Despite, solid knocks from Dean Elgar (60) and Marcus Trescothick (34) at the top, regular strikes from Dawson (4-66) and Crane (5-40) had Somerset in deep trouble at 118 for six.
Lewis Gregory (25) and Craig Overton (10) stopped the slide with a brief 28 run stand but once again Crane and Dawson returned back to remove than and also dismiss Somerset for 198 runs.
The 90-run win is also Hampshire's second win from five games this season.
Hampshire are currently positioned third in the table with 60 points while Somerset, who are yet to register a win this season are languishing at the bottom of the table with 20 points.
