Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali top Betway’s market at 12/1 for who will score the most runs on T20 Finals Day.

Lancashire and England batsman Buttler heads the betting for the culmination of the short-form extravaganza at Edgbaston, alongside his England teammate Ali, as well as Sussex’s explosive pair of Laurie Evans and Luke Wright.

Jofra Archer heads wicket taking market

Sussex are the leading online bookmaker’s 13/5 favourites to be crowned the T20 Blast champions and their explosive pace-bowler Jofra Archer tops the market for the Finals Day leading wicket taker, along with Lancashire’s 21-year-old leg-spinner Matt Parkinson at 11/1.

They are closely followed by a number of ex-internationals at 12/1 including Australian James Faulkner and Springbok Wayne Parnell.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “T20 Finals Day is one of the highlights of English cricket’s domestic calendar and this year’s edition promises to be spectacular, with the likes of Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali just some of the stars on show at Edgbaston.

“Fresh off their series win over India, Buttler and Ali head the betting for the day’s leading run scorer at 12/1, along with the Sussex duo of Laurie Evans and Luke Wright.

“Sussex, who are our 13/5 favourites for the competition, look to have all bases covered with frequent boundary clearers like Wright and Evans, while in Jofra Archer they have a classy seamer who has done it all over the world.

“Archer and Lancashire’s promising leg-spinner Matt Parkinson are our 11/1 favourites to take the most wickets on Finals Day, ahead of a host of ex-internationals including James Faulkner at 12/1.”
