Cricket Betting Tips and Fantasy Cricket Match Predictions: Australia vs India 2020 - 2nd T20I
The 2nd T20I of the three-match series between Australia and India will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney in Australia.
The first of two red ball practice matches before India's 4-match series against Australia begins on the same day as the 2nd T20I. India will thus have the choice of diverting a few test match players to that match.
However, that is unlikely to happen as the team would want to do well in international cricket which is at hand. As it is, the likes of T Natarajan, Deepak Chahar, Sanju Samson Shikhar Dhawan, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar are not part of the test squad.
The only change that India are expected to make apart from Yuzvendra Chahal keeping his spot, after he came in as a like-for-like replacement for the concussed Ravindra Jadeja in the last match, is to rotate Mohammed Shami with Jasprit Bumrah.
T Natarajan did a great job of picking up 3 wickets on his T20I debut and makes for a good combination with Deepak Chahar, who initially struggled in the last match but came back strongly.
Australia do not have the luxury of going with their tried and tested spin bowling combination after an injury to Ashton Agar. They are likely to hand Cameron Green his T20I debut in place of Mitchell Swepson.
D Arcy Short is expected to continue opening the batting alongside Aaron Finch. Australia will have to rethink about the batting order of Matthew Wade as he kept getting pushed down in the T20I opener.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
Australia - D Arcy Short, Aaron Finch (c), Matthew Wade (wk), Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Moises Henriques, Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood
India - Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul (wk), Virat Kohli (c), Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah, T Natarajan, Yuzvendra Chahal
