Cricket Betting Tips and Fantasy Cricket Match Predictions: England vs Pakistan 3rd T20I
The 3rd and the last match of the T20I series between England and Pakistan will be played at the Old Trafford in Manchester.
The 2nd T20I was a game for the batsmen as 394 runs were scored from 39.1 overs. Some of it has to be attributed to the true surface at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester which allowed the batsmen to open their arms and go for the kill.
But, many of the runs conceded, were also down to the flawed execution by the bowlers. One cannot fault them too much as variations can only be fine-tuned with practice and the bowlers from both sides have had little match practice in the past four-five months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Once they get back into their rhythm, the quality of cricket is expected to get better.
That said, the boundaries from Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez were a delight to watch. But it was Eoin Morgan who stole the show.
The England captain brought up his half-century off just 27 balls and by the time he was dismissed on 66, having scored at a strike rate of 200, he had already killed the chase. There were brilliant efforts from Dawid Malan and Jonny Bairstow as well.
England are likely to bring in David Willey in place of Tom Curran for the last match of the series. Pakistan have to accommodate Haider Ali and Wahab Riaz. Perhaps, they will come in for Iftikhar Ahmed and Shaheen Shah Afridi respectively.
If Mohammad Amir hasn't recovered from the niggle he picked in the 2nd T20I, Mohammad Hasnain can get a game.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
Pakistan - Babar Azam(c), Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Rizwan(wk), Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Hasnain/Mohammad Amir, Haris Rauf, Wahab Riaz
England - Tom Banton, Jonny Bairstow(wk), Dawid Malan, Eoin Morgan(c), Sam Billings, Moeen Ali, David Willey, Lewis Gregory, Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, Saqib Mahmood
