Quality all-rounder Dhananjaya de Silva will lead SLC Blues. de Silva looked a cut above the rest in the last match on Sri Lanka's tour of England, and made a few valuable contributions against India recently as well.

With his class with the bat and control with his off-spin, he promises to stand apart. However, he will need to score a bit quicker than his natural style to be effective for SLC Blues. Sadeera Samarawickrama is another attacking batsman in the team.

There is no looking past Suranga Lakmal with the ball. Lakmal may not be the most suited to this format, but is a bowler of Test quality, and provided a bit of help, he will reign supreme.

SLC Reds captain Dinesh Chandimal has been going through a lot recently. He has been in and out of the Sri Lankan white ball team, and needs runs under his belt. However, there is little doubt about the class of the former Sri Lankan captain.

Avishka Fernando has always had flair, but he added consistency to it in the recent white ball matches against India to help Sri Lanka grab the T20I series. His explosive credentials are second to none in Sri Lankan cricket.

Oshadha Fernando and Asela Gunaratne are the other big names in the team's batting unit. Asitha Fernando and Binura Fernando are good bowling options.

Chamika Karunaratne stood out in the recent series against India for his all-round skills and understanding of the game. He is one player who can single handedly help SLC Reds win the league.
