Cricket Betting Tips and Fantasy Cricket Predictions: New Zealand vs Bangladesh 2021 - 3rd ODI
The 3rd ODI of the three-match series between New Zealand and Bangladesh will be played at the Basin Reserve, Wellington in New Zealand.
The way Bangladesh capitulated in the first ODI, they did well to give New Zealand a run for their money in the second ODI. However, the hosts just had too much in the tank for Bangladesh to get the better of them.
Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Mithun played well for the visitors in 2nd ODI, taking them to 271 for 6 from their 50 overs on a tricky pitch in Christchurch. New Zealand were then down at 53/3 after 10.5 overs but fought back after that.
The century stand between Tom Latham and Devon Conway was vital, particularly with New Zealand playing without their ODI stalwarts Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson. While Conway was run out, Latham ensured that he was there right till the end, unbeaten on 110 off 108 deliveries. He struck 10 boundaries and batted at run a ball.
James Neesham also had a good contribution in the match as well and scored 30 off 34 deliveries at a time when soaking up a few deliveries could have turned the chase tricky.
Mitchell Santner was the best bowler for New Zealand and finished with figures of 10-0-51-2. Mustafizur Rahman and Mohammad Saifuddin were the best bowlers on show for Bangladesh.
The visitors have to come up with an all-round show in order to pull the final ODI in their favour.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
New Zealand - Martin Guptill, Henry Nicholls, Devon Conway, Will Young, Tom Latham (c & wk), James Neesham, Daryl Mitchell, Mitchell Santner, Kyle Jamieson, Matt Henry, Trent Boult
Bangladesh - Tamim Iqbal (c), Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan, Mahedi Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mustafizur Rahman
