Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction Australia v India 1st T20I
As the Indian tour of Australia is set to begin, there are voices of India's expected dominance from all corners. Just a word of caution: Australia may be down but they are out by no means.
India are coming off a superb run in the shortest format of the game. Apart from winning T20Is at home, they have also trumped South Africa and England while touring. Their recent victory came against Windies where they absolutely dominated the visitors in a 3-0 whitewash.
Australia, on the other hand, are trying to get their act together. They have all the pieces; the need is just to arrange and rearrange them to find the perfect Combination.
A curtailed T20I against South Africa did them no good. If any at all, Glenn Maxwell looked in his element, contributing with both bat and ball. Australia have rested their lead bowlers in Mitchell Stark and Pat Cummins to keep them fit for the Test series.
The Aussies have a formidable batting line up with the likes of Aaron Finch, Chris Lynn, Glenn Maxwell, D Arcy Short, Alex Carey and Marcus Stoinis in the ranks. But one feels that they are playing a batsman too many and can replace one with a spinner in Adam Zampa. Andrew Tye and Billy Stanlake remain a force in T20s.
For India, the quartet of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav will be key. With Kohli returning, they would have to drop one batsman if they want to persist with all-rounder Kunal Pandya. As both Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant have performed well in the recent times, Manish Pandey will have to sit this one out.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XIs of both teams.
India- Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Lokesh Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, Krunal Pandya/Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Khaleel Ahmed
Australia- Aaron Finch, D Arcy Short, Chris Lynn, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Ben McDermott, Alex Carey, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Andrew Tye, Jason Behrendorff, Billy Stanlake
