The 3rd and the last match of the three-match T20I series on the Pakistan tour of Australia will be played at the Perth Stadium in Perth.

This is the thing with a short 3-match series. Even if one of the games is tied or washed out, there is very little left in the series to play for.

With the first T20I between Australia and Pakistan ending without a result due to rain and Australia winning the second match by 7 wickets, it has become impossible for Pakistan to win the series. The most they can do from here on is to level it by winning the last match of the series played at Perth.

Babar Azam impressed as always in the last game in Canberra, notching up his second consecutive half-century on the tour. But, it was Iftikhar Ahmed who stood out for Pakistan within an unbeaten 62 from 34 balls at a strike rate of 182. Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins were the best bowlers for Australia.

After Aaron Finch and David Warner were dismissed early, for a change, Steve Smith showed his class within an unbeaten 51-ball 80 and took the team home.

Pakistan's left-arm quick Mohammad Irfan will have to step up his game in order to retain his place in the side.

As Australia have rested Pat Cummins for the last T20I to prepare for the Test matches, Billy Stanlake will get a go in his place. The hosts will expect another masterclass from one of Finch, Warner or Smith to help them win the series 2-0.

Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:

Australia- Aaron Finch, David Warner, Steven Smith, Ben McDermott, Ashton Turner, Alex Carey, Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson, Adam Zampa

Pakistan- Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Rizwan, Asif Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Irfan
