The final of the Bangladesh T20I tri-series will be played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Afghanistan had the wood over Bangladesh in recent times in T20Is with four successive wins. That changed in the last game with Bangladesh winning the game comfortably by four wickets.

Afghanistan's batting had been clicking in the tournaments till now. Even when they stumbled, someone or the other in the lower-middle order helped them reach a healthy score.

However, despite a good opening stand between Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Zazai in the last match, Afghanistan fell cheaply, credit to an all-elround bowling performance from Bangladesh.

The home team would have taken a big sigh of relief with Shakib Al Hasan, who had not scored a lot of runs since the World Cup, coming back to form. Despite this win, Afghanistan would be confident of winning the final based on current form. The only headache for them would be the fitness of Rashid Khan who pulled his hamstring in the last game and is yet to be cleared for the tri-series final.

The result of this match will also rest on the shoulders of Mahmudullah who has recently come back to form. If he can provide Bangladesh with a few quick runs in the middle order against the crafty Afghan spinners, it can change the face of the match completely.

Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:

Bangladesh- Najmul Hossain Shanto, Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Afif Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin, Shafiul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman

Afghanistan- Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Hazratullah Zazai, Shafiqullah Shafiq, Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Gulbadin Naib, Rashid Khan, Asghar Afghan, Karim Janat, Naveen-ul-Haq, Mujeeb Ur Rahman
