Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction BBL- Hobart Hurricanes v Brisbane Heat
Despite losing their last match against Sydney Sixers by nine wickets, Hobart Hurricanes are at the top of the points table with eight wins from 10 matches.
On the other hand, Brisbane Heat have largely been good but have lost their last three matches. They suffered a batting collapse in the last match and failed to chase down 135 against Melbourne Stars.
Hobart Hurricanes have been tremendously benefited by their opening pair of D'Arcy Short and Matthew Wade, both of whom feature in the list of highest run-getters of the tournament and actually share nine half-centuries between them.
Wade struck a 51-ball 64 in the last game to take the number of his half centuries to four. Short also has 473 runs from 10 innings which include five half-centuries. The team has an accomplished player in George Bailey in the middle order.
All-rounder James Faulkner has been quite good for the team and has picked up 15 wickets in the season till now, apart from chipping in with useful contributions with the bat. Among other bowlers in the team, Riley Meredith has 14 wickets while Jofra Archer has 11.
The batting of Brisbane Heat depends on their top three but Brendon McCullum, Max Bryant and Chris Lynn are all trying to play a shot too many and perishing in the process. All three have played some fine knocks but need to craft their innings more wisely rather than going hammer and tongs after every ball. Matt Renshaw was the top-scorer for the team after he was released from the Test squad in the last game.
Among the bowlers, Josh Lalor has been in good form of late and picked up career best figures of 5-26 against Sydney Sixers. He has taken 11 wickets while Mujeeb Ur Rahman has nine.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XIs of both teams.
