Surrey and Yorkshire will face each other in a County Championship Division One encounter, to be played at Woodbridge Road in Guildford.

With two wins from five matches, Yorkshire are at the second place in the Division One points table. They have drawn the remaining three matches and are with 71 points.

Surrey have not been able to open their winning account till now. But the good thing for them is that despite two defeats, they have not lost by huge margins and hence have been able to stick around at the sixth spot. With three drawn games, Surrey are with 43 points.

It is amazing how Gary Ballance has remained consistent over the years and continues to deliver performances one after the another. With 603 runs from five matches, Ballance is not only the highest run-scorer for Yorkshire but tops the run-scoring charts in County Championship Division One. He has a sensational average of over 86 and has already piled up four centuries from nine innings.

Adam Lyth is next in line with 391 runs from five matches at an average of close to 50. Ben Coad is the highest wicket-taker for Yorkshire, with 22 scalps from five matches at an average of a shade under 25.

Rory Burns is the highest run-getter for Surrey with 471 runs from five matches. Kolpak player Morne Morkel is still sending deliveries through at decent pace and has claimed 19 wickets from eight innings.

Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
