Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction CSA T20 Challenge 2019- Cape Cobras v Warriors

Vernon Philander

Cape Cobras and Warriors will face off against each other at the Boland Park in Paarl.

Cape Cobras played their last match against Titans which they lost by seven wickets. Batting first, Cobras did not get off to a great start and lost opener Hashim Amla in the second over.

There were 20s from Janneman Malan, Simon Khomari and Vernon Philander but wicketkeeper-batsman Kyle Verreynne (44) ended as the highest scorer. In reply, George Linde and Vernon Philander picked up one wicket each but their bowling overall was not effective enough to pose any threat to the Titans batsmen. As a result, the Titans were successful in chasing the total in the 16th over itself.

Warriors were scheduled to play their last match on April 9 against Knights but that match was abandoned without a ball being bowled. In their opening match, Warriors were successful in beating Titans by four runs as per the DLS method.

The Titans had put up a mammoth 216-run total on the board. Warriors bowlers, except Lutho Simpala, went for plenty. Simpala was the stand out bowler for the Warriors and picked up two wickets while conceding 34 runs.

In reply, Warriors got off to a good start with Gihahn Cloete blasting 46 off just 25 deliveries with five fours and three sixes. Matthew Breetzke was also unbeaten when the rain came in and the match could not be completed.

At that point, Warriors were ahead by four runs from the DLS par score and as a result, clinched the victory.
