Both Kabul Zwanan and Nangarhar Leopards won their opening matches of the Afghanistan Premier League but are coming off defeats in their respective second games.

Nangarhar Leopards' full-time captain and icon Andre Russell is expected to be back for this match. In his absence, Ben Cutting has led the side beautifully and has been sensational with both bat and ball. Cutting has returns of 5-28 and 3-25 with the ball and an explosive 39-ball 71.

However, apart from Hashmatullah Shahidi, the Leopards' top order has not fared too well. The return of Andre Russell will help their cause. Their bowling will be led by spinners Mujibur Rahman and Zahir Khan.

With innings of 79* and 64, Laurie Evans has hit form for the Kabul Zwanan. Their batting will be further bolstered by Colin Ingram who is back in the side after a good run in the Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy with consecutive scores of 84* and 51. Their bowling will be obviously led by Rashid Khan who has picked up only one wicket in two matches but remains economical and can also use the long handle.

Here are the playing XI for both teams.

Nangarhar Leopards - Johnson Charles, Najeeb Tarakai, Andre Russell, Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Shafiqullah, Ben Cutting, Mitchell McClenaghan, Naveen-ul-Haq, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Zahir Khan

Kabul Zwanan - Luke Ronchi, Hazratullah Zazai, Colin Ingram, Javed Ahmadi, Laurie Evans, Shahidullah, Rashid Khan, Muslim Musa, Wayne Parnell, Fareed Ahmad, Zahir Shehzad
