The Rocks have bounced back with wins in their last two matches. Under the captaincy of Faf du Plessis and with the addition of Aiden Markram in the batting lineup along with interim skipper Henry Davids has made the team quite strong.
Davids scored a fluent 46 against Durban Heat. Skipper Faf du Plessis also cracked a half-century against Cape Town Blitz.
In the bowling department, David Wiese, Bjorn Fortuin, Dane Paterson and Tabraiz Shamsi are there main bowlers. Left-arm spinner Fortuin returned with excellent match figures of 4/15 against Cape Town Blitz and would be a major threat for the Rocks' batsmen.
Paarl Rocks would count on the top three batsmen in Marco Marais, JJ Smuts and Ben Duckett. Duckett is the leading run-scorer for the side. Smuts also cracked an unbeaten 62 against Durban Heat while Marais fared well against Tshwane Spartans.
The likes of Chris Morris, Imran Tahir and Junior Dala will lead the bowling. Tahir has not been able to pick up as many wickets as he would have liked but he has been extremely economical and has built constant pressure on the opposition batsmen.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XIs of both teams.
