The first and foremost thing to look out for India are their multiple injury scares. Rohit Sharma injured his left shoulder while fielding. Shikhar Dhawan did not take the field after getting hit on the rib cage off a short-pitched delivery. Rishabh Pant is under observation for concussion and Navdeep Saini seemed to be limping after doing some damage to his ankle in Rajkot.

The good news for the team though is that none of these injuries are the too serious and all of these four players are expected to be part of the playing XI in Bengaluru.

Shreyas Iyer, after his failures in the last few matches, is expected to be dropped. Manish Pandey has been in and out of the team and might lose his place again after an ordinary outing in the last game.

Rishabh Pant is expected to come into the team but it will be interesting to see whether or not he keeps wickets as KL Rahul has done a fine job in the series till now. Shivam Dube can also make an entry into the team to provide the sixth bowling option, which might come in handy on a flat wicket such as the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal also presents a case to be included in the playing XI on his IPL home ground, but it is difficult to see him making the cut, with no open spots.

Australia will consider making two changes. One is the inclusion of Darcy Short in place of Ashton Turner. The visitors might decide in the negative in this case.

Other is the inclusion of Josh Hazlewood. Although there is a slight chance of him coming in for Kane Richardson who was expensive in the last match, it is most likely that he will replace left-arm spinning all-rounder Ashton Agar.
